Gold Backs Down On Profit-Taking, Rebound in U.S. Dollar

Gold is moderately lower in early U.S. trading Friday, on profit taking from the shorter-term traders and on a downside technical correction following recent gains that saw prices hit a 3.5-month high Thursday.
